I'm using the Calvert springs and bars in my 1980 Z28. So far my
best 60' has been 1.46 and a best
of 10.55 @ 128 in the 1/4. The car is 3500lbs with driver powered by a
406 sbc N/A...for a little while longer.

UPDATE
Same combination as before except for a 200hp tune-up from
Nitrous Express. After dropping the bars into the
lower holes I ran a best of 9.49 at 141mph with a 1.37 sixty foot.
This is with a stiff sidewall M/T 28-10.5-15 tire.

UPDATE

With more shock adjustments and nitrous tuning we were able to go 1.30
sixty foot and 9.28 at 144. Still at a heavy
3600 lbs on a M/T 28-10.5-15 slick. Wheelie bars were added after a header
smashing on the bumper wheel-stand.
Looking for that 8 second run next season!

UPDATE, IN THE 8's

I pushed the car into the 8s for 2007. Still a small block 400 but with a
single fogger. I also lightened the car back to 3500lbs.
The best part is I'm using a 295 M/T drag radial and still running low 1.30s to
the 60'.
