Hello:
I just wanted to let you know how much I like my CalTracs. I purchased the bars about three years ago for my 1972 Ventura (like a Nova). We installed the bars in about two hours as instructed. A couple of adjustments at the track to the pre-set and we have not worried about traction since. The 28.5x9 inch tire hooks hard every launch.
The car picked up immediately in the 60 ft. which carried through the whole track. We went from inconsistent high 1.50s 60ft. to consistent low 1.40's. Best 60ft to date is 1.427 leaving at 2000rpm with a powerglide. Then went from low 11's to running low 10.80's.
Thank you for manufacturing a product that actual did what it claimed. Everyone asks me "How do you like those CalTracs?". I tell them that they were the best money I have ever spent and wished that I would have found them years earlier.
